I've been in the area forever and this is the first time I was able to stop in. The food was solid maybe a bit American-ized, but basically good. Interior was pretty comfy - maybe a bit traditional cafe setup. Service was excellent. We were there on a Friday at about 6pm and skirted a rush because we had a party of 2. If you're more people than that, be prepped for a wait if you're walking in. Parking is pretty easy tho.

The food at Tashiro is always excellent. It's a local established restaurant located in a small strip mall with lots of good parking. It's right across the street from the Terrace Theaters so it's a good pre-show spot. Sometimes there's a wait but 6 pm is generally a good time. They have a very active sushi bar which has a fair amount of seats. Give it a try.

Adorable restaurant with delicious sushi! I dined with a friend, and was pleasantly greeted and sat by our server, who was helpful with my questions about the menu. The ambiance is very casual. You can sit in a standard table or you can sit in front of the chefs as they prepare the sushi. The layout is quaint and lovely. I started off with shrimp tempura and miso soup, which were great! For my entrees, I got the spicy shrimp sushi and the bakes crab roll. All of the seafood tasted extremely fresh and each bite was delicious. My friend ordered a deluxe sushi plate, which featured an assortment of raw fish and vegetables. Since we were sharing, I tried the salmon and tune, which were amazing! I definitely recommend this adorable restaurant, and hope to return in the near future!

First time trying this place after moving to the neighborhood during the pandemic. We ordered the miso soup, toro sashimi, blue crab roll, rainbow roll, crunchy rice and tuna, and the nigiri sampler they had - all were top notch. The menu is simple and the chefs focus on the quality and execution. Service was great, waitress was always checking in. When you step in you instantly notice that you stepped into a place from the 90's, somewhat nostalgic. Place is small and somewhat intimate giving all diners visual of the prep which is good. All in all will def be back.

Pleasant surprise. Was looking for a sushi spot that definitely offered sashimi (avoiding rice for keto) and decided to try this place. Best decision ever! Each sashimi piece was fresh and enjoyable. My partner enjoyed the rolls ordered as well. Service was superb and parking was not an issue. I know I'll be coming back frequently!
